In the Domain Name System (DNS) hierarchy, a subdomain is a domain that is part of a larger domain.
Below is a tutorial to how to create a sub domain using cPanel
Step 1 : Login to your cPanel account using your username and password.
Step 2 : Once logged in, go to the Domain tab (you will find it on the right hand side), see the screenshot below. Click on the Subdomain option.
Step 3 : Enter the desired subdomain name, and a Document Root folder. By default cPanel will automatically create a folder for the subdomain under “/public_html/”, you can change this if you want. And press the Create button.
Note that in this example I have used a subDomain of “aspinterview”.
All DONE ! If all is Ok, your sub-domain will be created successfully and a message like the one below will be shown.
So in the above tutorial, my sub-domain was “aspinterview” which is now present as http://aspinterview.yassershaikh.com/
